SEX IN CHURCH pt2.

SEX IN CHURCH The subject of  sex is more than just preaching and shouting, we must strategically run programs that will help the church have dominion over this secret pandemic. There are many good Christians who struggle with  masturbation  and pornography daily, yet they dare not speak because the church will crucify and condemn them.  Many pastors think getting married will cure the illness of sexual addiction, so they encourage people to marry early to avoid sexual temptation. NEWS FLASH : Whatever you didn't conquer before marriage will harass you in marriage, the sexual problem you didn't deal with before marriage will deal with you in marriage.  I have seen several churches organise prayer meetings to bind the spirit of sexual immorality among Nigerian youths but I am yet to see any visible intervention that is geared towards creating a counter culture that can churn out superior alternatives in the form of content and promote a Kingdom culture instead. ...

SEX IN CHURCH pt1

SEX IN CHURCH Kosi was a young pastor  with fire, a rugged Christian with unwaving passion for the Kingdom. Pastor K (as he was popularly known), operated in multi-dimentional graces and was also known for teaching sound wisdom from the Word of God.  Pastor K had this charisma that could not be resisted, you cannot but love him. He had his way around people; his intelligent manner of communicating with humor will always leave you thrilled. He also had the ears of both the political, business and religious leaders of his community. Pastor K was that man that gets results effortlessly, though young yet he did exploits  that were way beyond his age and counterparts. He had a very beautiful and humble wife which made their union a model to many marriages and families but Pastor K was ravaging and sinking deep with this secret illness that he wouldn't let anyone know about. This illness was so chronic but he just couldn't let it out because of what people will say if they find...

WHAT IS MINISTRY TO YOU? pt1

WHAT IS MINISTRY TO YOU? Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you–unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected? 2 Corinthians 13:5 AMPC For days I have been struggling to post this article because of the fear of being misunderstood, but as a leader sometimes we step on toes to do what is right. Ministry has been misused, misinterpreted, and to some extent abused. The coming of this pandemic, COVID 19 was a blessing in disguise, It came to expose whether you were in ministry or something else. As a pastor and as someone who has been and seen ministry in different forms and shades I get bordered whenever I hear people teach and do ministry in a certain way. To an average pastor or Christian leader out there, when you sa...

VICTIM OF MY MIND pt3

THE LEADER'S ROLE Proverbs 23:7 King James Version (KJV)  For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. 1You cannot go contrary from your  dominant thought. VICTIM OF MY MIND pt2

You can never be different from what goes on in your mind, a man is a reflection of his dominant thoughts. Your mind is either a lid to your progress or an acceleration for your progress. The mind is influence by 1) THE FAMILY: there's 90% livelihood that you will end up with similar life experience with your parent if there is no mind shift, if your parent only think and speak lack ,it then starts to form your mindset which you'll eventually toll that path  unless there is a deliberate mind shift. 2,THE ENVIRONMENT: Do you ever wonder why children and people who grow up in slums tend to be more violent, This is  because that's what their environment teaches them, the  interactions that goes on in your environment, the life style has major role in forming your mindset, we are largely a product of our environment. 3,EDUCATION:  Education is and an institutionalised system of mind shift, the kind and level  of education you get will determine how you v...

VICTIM OF MY MIND pt1

Few years ago while pastoring a small branch of a church, A lady met me for counselling ,her issue was about a solution for her abusive relationship, After hearing all her  story and what she had to say , the only solution that I could proffer  was for her to opt out of the relationship.. It was quite an interesting one because when I told her to end it,she got angry at me for saying that, her reaction was surprising to me ,she wanted a reason to keep staying in the relationship not a solution. her issue was a mind issue, the guy has her mind caged with manipulation, He kept her where he wanted her to be. The guy will heat her but blame it on  having anger issues, cheat on her but blame it on her for not being available, the list goes on,her real issue was her mind .she was a prisoner of her own mind. This case Here is similar to that of  countless others, who are being imprisoned by their own mind,  1. What  controls your mind controls y...

Leadership In A Fast Changing World

I remember the closing speech of the CEO of Nokia, Stephen Elop, during the press conference that announced Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia. He ended his speech saying; “...we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost.” Upon this conclusion, he and the entire management team publicly wept. You don't have to be wrong to be out, all you need is to lag behind in a fast moving world like ours. Nokia did nothing but they were too busy doing activities while the world was busy "jetting". They lost the company and billions that would have been made and future relevance, they lost big! Activity is not a sign of progress. You can be actively going round circles. This is the case of many leaders today, they keep doing what they know how to, what they are used to and still feel they are in the market, meanwhile the world has long left them behind. A leader who is not getting updated daily will soon go off the market; updating prevents outdating. You don't have to ...

How To Deal With Criticism

Topic: **DEALING WITH CRITICISM* . I Recently witness a pathetic leadership blunder. where a suppose leader was engage in a fight with a person that was criticising him and with the various victimisation of people across the country for criticising people in power, it was obvious to me that many leaders have a lot of deficits in basic leadership skils. As unfair as this may sound one of the pain in leadership is criticism, you seem never to escape it as a leader, no matter how good you are, people will still criticize you. It can either be constructive or destructive but you can't escape me if you are leader. To be a leader is to be frontier, and you cannot be a frontliner without being stoned at or without suffering one criticism or the other. So to be a leader and you don't want to be criticised is having an unrealistic expectation, as a ripe fruit you should naturally expect stones to be thrown at you, every successful leader knows that no matter how good you are someone w...

She's was not in a safe Area ,what about the girl raped and killed In church? What was she doing in his house? What about the children raped at home? Society has a way of blaming the victim when it comes to this issue of rape,we make excuses for sick people, for you to have an erection and go forward to force someone against their will it's a big sign that you have a big problem. THE RAPIST IS THE PROBLEM NOT THE RAPED. RAPE IN NIGERIA Rape in Nigeria is not new problem  it has been in existence longer than we know and  it's roots buried deep in our culture, traditions and Even religion, we now  hearing a little about it because of the presence of social media and the boldness of few victims that speak out.
