THE LEADER'S ROLE
Proverbs 23:7 King James Version (KJV)
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
1You cannot go contrary from your dominant thought. You ultimately become what you think,
3, One of the crucial responsibility of A Leaders is to shape the minds of the Lead help refocus their thoughts with thoughts that engenders destiny Actualisation.
4,As a Leader you need to listen, observe,discern and investigate the dominant thought of your followers.
5,With my little experience in leadership, haven lead different people from different fields ,ages, background and exposure, I can say this emphatically, what goes on in their minds most times are not nice at all.
6, People are going through secret stuffs like dangerous low self esteem, depression, fear,unforgiveness and bitterness, just to mention a few.
7, Reshaping the mind is not what you do erratically,it must be deliberate and intentional. These are the few suggested ways you deliberately shift the minds of the people following you.
8,Discern the mindset.
We all have a mindset that situations or environment has moulded in us which may be harmful to our destinies. You must as a leader be able to discern that mould in the life of your followers to be able shift that mindset. You discern by
I) engaging them in conversations.
ii) by observing how the act in face of situations.
iii) by asking the holy spirit to expose it to you.
9,EXPOSE THE PROBLEM. until you know a problem you won't appreciate the solution, therefore after discerning the issue is becomes important that you expose the issue to them by teaching them the havoc of such mindset .It's important I mention this ,please don't make your teaching vindictive ,you can reach out to help without making them feel bad.
9, ENGAGE THE THE WORD OF GOD. The advantage we have as Christians is we have Gods word on our side. The bible calls this mindset, STRONGHOLD,these are captivity in the mind of the people but the Word of God is our might weapon in which we use to pull down those destructive strongholds.
10,The word of God is Gods power expressed in words and the greatest tool of mind transformation. Amongst many other things you do as a Leader engage the word of God ,teach them, show them and act it also.
11,The word of God pumps faith and hope in the life of men,nothing builds healthy self esteem like the faith built word from God.
14,Give them assignment, Please leaders engage your followers by deliberately giving them Book assignments, look for books That deal with their their peculiar mind mould and give them to study and do a review on it. personally the greatest blessing that has happened to me is the gift of Great mentors who stretched me through strategic book assignments.
