SEX IN CHURCH pt1

SEX IN CHURCH

Kosi was a young pastor  with fire, a rugged Christian with unwaving passion for the Kingdom. Pastor K (as he was popularly known), operated in multi-dimentional graces and was also known for teaching sound wisdom from the Word of God.

Pastor K had this charisma that could not be resisted, you cannot but love him. He had his way around people; his intelligent manner of communicating with humor will always leave you thrilled. He also had the ears of both the political, business and religious leaders of his community.

Pastor K was that man that gets results effortlessly, though young yet he did exploits  that were way beyond his age and counterparts. He had a very beautiful and humble wife which made their union a model to many marriages and families but Pastor K was ravaging and sinking deep with this secret illness that he wouldn't let anyone know about. This illness was so chronic but he just couldn't let it out because of what people will say if they find out. "A whole Pastor K" having this kind of sickness. Oftentimes, he does things he regrets because the sickness is controlling. Pastor Kosi's illness is called sexual pervertion.

It got so bad that pastor K started sneaking small girl into his office to have sex with them through harassment and manipulation. It got so bad that the news of his misdemeanor began to spread by his victims but no one seemed to believe them because Pastor K is involved. Some even opinned that the girls are the devil's mercenaries trying so hard to destroy Pastor K and his ministry while other fanatics would defend him to the grave not knowing he is
a sexual predator destroying children's lives in church. He started on the right path, how did he get to that point? He oftentimes preaches messages to keep the mouth of his members shut and put them in fear, after all Ham was cursed by his father for exposing his nakedness, Mariam was plagued with leprosy for speaking against Moses so he kept those people in perpetual fear.

Pastor K's problem is refusing to deal with and find healing for his problem because of what people will think of him (the shame and stigma attached), so like many pastors and Christians, he will rather sink with it than expose it to someone that can help him.
Sex on rampage!

Just like Pastor Kosi, I know many Christians and pastors who are struggling with sexual addiction. I have been in church long enough to know that many good people of God are galloping in this destructive habit, many "jim-jim" (zealous/firebrand) brothers and sisters in church are really struggling with this but are afraid to speak out because of fear of how everyone will look at them. "A WHOLE ME" they say inwardly.

It will interest you to know that about 50% of people in the pew are struggling with pornography, masturbation and sexual addiction but these are things we don't talk about and even when we talk about them, we do do using a judgemental approach.

The way we treat this subject of sex in church makes an average Christan feel ashamed to come out with their struggle and seek for help. The pastor acts as a super hero with no struggles at all, the MAMA (Pastor's wife/Women leader) makes young ladies feel terrible for having those struggles without extending a helping hand.

The youth leader or choir director makes members feel they are demon possessed for having sexual urge without giving them balanced sexual education. I feel very sad writing this because I know alot of people that have been destroyed and will yet be destroyed because of how we handle this issue of sex in church.

Do you know that the average Christan knows nothing about sex, pornography or masturbation other than it is sin against God? What a pity and shame to all Pastors (me inclusive).

There were over 1 million porn uploads with average views of 400,000 and the highest consumers are between the ages of 7 – 26. As a matter of fact, the age of sexual initiation has somehow dropped to age 7.

WHAT IS MINISTRY TO YOU? pt1

WHAT IS MINISTRY TO YOU? Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you–unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected? 2 Corinthians 13:5 AMPC For days I have been struggling to post this article because of the fear of being misunderstood, but as a leader sometimes we step on toes to do what is right. Ministry has been misused, misinterpreted, and to some extent abused. The coming of this pandemic, COVID 19 was a blessing in disguise, It came to expose whether you were in ministry or something else. As a pastor and as someone who has been and seen ministry in different forms and shades I get bordered whenever I hear people teach and do ministry in a certain way. To an average pastor or Christian leader out there, when you sa...
